Consent & data protection

Message those who agreed — and prove they agreed

Every number has a record: whether they agreed, when, and how you know. STOP is honoured at once and for good. Customer data belongs to the business, with a clear deletion path.

A marketing message sent without consent costs twice: a customer who blocks you, and a regulatory question you cannot answer. The Kingdom’s Personal Data Protection Law asks that you know, for every person, on what basis you are messaging them. AurCard makes the answer exist before it is asked: a “yes” on WhatsApp is recorded with its message and time, a verbal consent is recorded by the employee under their name, a form on your page with an unticked box — each one a record of who, when and how. And whoever writes STOP is excluded from every future campaign before it is sent, whatever group they are in.

How it works

  1. 1

Consent is recorded as it happens

A “yes” reply on WhatsApp, a box on the capture form, or a manual record with its source — stored with the evidence, not as a context-free tick.

  2. 2

It is checked before every send

Every campaign passes through the record: those who consented are sent, those who did not or who stopped are excluded, and the campaign tells you the numbers before it starts.

  3. 3

It is withdrawn with one word

Every marketing message carries “reply STOP to opt out”. The word takes effect at once and stays, and beats any earlier consent.

Why it matters

Consent per business, separately

A customer’s consent to your business is never shared with another business that holds the number, and vice versa. A “yes” is given to you, not to everyone who has the number.

Notice to existing customers — on signed terms

For people who genuinely dealt with you and have not been asked yet: an introduction with a way out, and after 24 hours without a STOP they count as implied consent under a lower cap. The owner enables it after reading and signing the terms by name, and it refuses freshly imported or unrelated numbers.

Service is not marketing

A booking confirmation or a reply to a question needs no marketing consent — but someone who opted out stays opted out even from that, if they chose.

Deletion on request, on record

A customer asked for their data to be deleted? A permanent erasure path separate from ordinary deletion, recording who did it and when — so you can answer the question if asked a year later.

Common questions

Does using AurCard make my business compliant?

Compliance is the business’s decision and conduct; AurCard gives you the tools and the record that make it possible and easy: documented consent, honoured opt-out, recorded deletion, and data never sent beyond what the customer agreed to. What you write and whom you send it to remains your responsibility.

What if an employee sends from their personal phone?

That is exactly what sending from the company number through the system solves: every message passes the consent check and is recorded. What is sent outside the system we cannot check — which is why we recommend ending it.
